Carry Each Other
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2 (WEB)
Picture two friends moving house, each holding one end of a heavy sofa up a narrow staircase. Alone, it would be impossible. Together, it is just hard work and a few laughs. Paul tells us to carry each other’s burdens. That might mean sitting with a grieving friend, dropping off a meal, or simply asking how someone really is and waiting for the answer. Whose load could you help lift this week?
Prayer
Lord, show me whose burden I can help carry, and let me receive help when I need it.
