Tender Kindness
And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32 (WEB)
Paul asks us to be kind and tenderhearted, forgiving one another just as God has forgiven us. Forgiveness can be the hardest part. It does not mean pretending something did not hurt, or that trust must return immediately. It means releasing the debt, often slowly, one day at a time. We forgive because we have been forgiven. If forgiveness feels out of reach, you can start by asking God to help you want to.
Prayer
Merciful God, soften my heart and help me forgive as you have forgiven me.
