Woven Together

This verse is sometimes quoted too quickly, as if it explains away pain. It does not say all things are good. Losses still hurt, and injustice is still wrong. What it says is that God works in all things for the good of those who love him. Like a weaver who uses dark threads alongside bright ones, God can bring meaning out of what we never would have chosen. That takes time, and trust.
