Wonderfully Made
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
Psalm 139:14 (WEB)
We can be our own harshest critics, noticing every flaw in the mirror and every mistake in the day. This verse offers a different view: we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your laugh, your hands, the way your mind works, the scars you carry, all of it is known by the One who formed you. You do not need to earn your worth. It was given before you took your first breath.
Prayer
Creator God, help me see myself with your kind eyes and thank you for how I am made.
