Untroubled Hearts

Jesus spoke these words to friends who were about to face the worst night of their lives. He asked them not to let their hearts be troubled, but to trust in God and in him. He knew trouble was coming, and he still offered calm. Our hearts can be troubled by many things: news, health, family, the unknown. Trust does not erase concern, but it gives anxious hearts somewhere safe to land.
