Through the Waters
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
Isaiah 43:2 (WEB)
Notice the word through. Isaiah does not promise that we will never face deep water or fire. He promises that when we pass through them, we will not be swept away or consumed, because God is with us. Hard seasons are real, and pretending otherwise helps no one. But a season you pass through is not a place you must live forever. Keep walking. You are not crossing alone.
Prayer
When I pass through deep waters, Lord, stay beside me and carry me safely through.
