Known and Led

A shepherd knows each sheep: which one limps, which one wanders, which one needs water first. To be shepherded is not to have everything we want, but to be known and led toward what we truly need. When your list of worries runs long, picture someone walking ahead of you, checking the path, counting you in at nightfall. You are not a number in a crowd. You are kept, and that can be enough for today.
