Commit Your Work

Whether your work is a spreadsheet, a classroom, a kitchen or a hospital ward, it matters to God. Proverbs encourages us to commit our work to the Lord. Before you begin your next task, pause and offer it: may this be done well, with patience and honesty. Results are not always in our control, but the spirit we bring to our work is. Ordinary tasks offered to God become quiet acts of prayer.
