Strength for Every Season

This verse is often printed on sports shirts, but Paul wrote it while in chains. He was talking about contentment, learning to be at peace whether he had plenty or very little. The strength Christ gives is not mainly for winning trophies. It is for getting through hunger and fullness, good days and bad, with a steady heart. Whatever season you are in, there is strength available for it.
