Light in the Dark

Children often ask for the hall light to stay on. Nothing in the room has changed, yet with a little light the shapes in the corner become just a chair and a coat. Fear grows in the dark of not knowing. The psalmist calls God his light and his salvation, and then asks a bold question about whom he should fear. Your fears may still be real, but they need not be in charge.
