Always With You

These are among the last words Jesus speaks in Matthew’s Gospel, a promise to be with his friends always, to the end of the age. Always includes the morning rush and the sleepless night, the hospital waiting room and the birthday party, the year everything went well and the year nothing did. There is no moment of your life where his presence runs out. Wherever today takes you, you are accompanied.
